Rear-door child locks limit opening a door from inside the vehicle. A child-lock indicator may confirm that the feature is enabled; it does not necessarily signal damage. Depending on the model, the control may be located at the door or operated electronically.

Check the owner's manual before changing the setting. Test the door with the vehicle safely parked, and make sure the occupants understand how the feature affects opening the rear doors.

If the indicated setting and actual door operation do not agree, contact Oxford Automotive Tire & Repair Sunbury. Explain which door, handle, or control is affected instead of attempting to bypass the lock.
